Solution:  let speeds are x and y
In opposite direction, Relative speed is (x+y)
x+y= (240+360)/30 = 20 m/sec    ---- (1)
In Same direction, Relative speed is (x-y)

X= 46.8 kmph

2.  A five digit number is formed with the digits 0,1,2,3 and 4 without repetition. Find the chance that the number is divisible by 5.

Solution:  Probability = (favorable cases)/(total cases)
Total cases = forming 5 digit number

Solution: let’s say fixed  cost is k and unit cost is x
Then k+650 * x=2130

Then 30 men 1 day’s work = 1/30
Then 1 man 1 day’s work = 1/900
40 women can do a work in 40 days
Then 40 women 1 day’s work = 1/40

181. A square field of area 31684 m2 is to be enclosed with wire placed at height 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 4 m above the ground. What length of the wire will be required if its length required for each circuit is 5% greater than the perimeter of the field?

Ans: 2990.4 m
Solution: let a is side of square field then a2=31684
a=178
perimeter= 4 * a = 712
5% more than perimeter = 712 + 5% of 712 = 712 + 35.6 = 747.6
Because we enclose four times so 4 * 747.6 = 2990.4
